Jessica Val Ortiz is a Butler, PA native, who is currently in her senior year in the BFA Musical Theater Program at Penn State University. She has been performing since the age of 5 and has always dreamed of becoming a professional actor.

  Most recently, Jessica performed in Spamilton at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (CLO) this past summer.

Jessica's other most recognized roles include Aurora/Spider Woman in Kiss of the Spider Woman and Paulette in Legally Blonde, both at Penn State Centre Stage. Regionally, Jessica has worked at Pittsburgh Musical Theater (PA), Woodstock Playhouse (NY), and Shenandoah Summer Music Theater (VA).

Besides acting, Jessica has a strong passion for comedy, film making, sketching and her life long inspiration, Kate McKinnon!
